I'm playing lfs since erm...late 2003, officially I got my S1 license in March 2004. Yesterday I've paid 12 british sterling-marks, so I don't have to save when s3 licensed content will be released.
So now I've spent 36 pounds for a game I've played for almost 6 years! In my eyes this is a bargain, seeing that it has developed from a quite simple little sim to a full blown game!
I play a lot of different racing games, but I only buy them when I get them for a tenner or less. Over the last few years I've bought GTR, GTR2, Trackmania, GT Legends, RBR and whatnot.
Those games were good fun, but rest on the shelves now. However I've spent much more on them as on LFS, but never really played them for longer than 2 weeks!
That's exactly why I think the marketing of Scavier is very decent, and last but not least I personally think those lazy slow bummers deserve the money
.

check out pictures of the nürburgring with the high curbs, almost 45° and 20cms high! On very old tracks they put tyres in concrete, so if you hit the "curb" your car was done.
In my opinion you CAN'T vote for easier curbs while wanting bumpier tracks at the same time. A track with some character has to have corners that throw you off! When we were driving Baby-Rs on that track exactly this corner was the challenge! get it right, flip or lose time!
/me votes for even higher curbs in some places!

where would we be today if everything that annoys us would have to go?
Maybe we would dragrace in 4wd cars with electronig diffs, asr, abs and other funny things. Plus super safe slicks (full rubber) and routed tracks, so none of us could spin!

yeah, you're right there :-)
Plus if I saw someone fast coming behind me I always tried to leave room to breathe for both of us - even in the corners.
So the fast were careful, the slow were friendly, the event turned out great!
Never had so much fun and excitement in a single multiclass race!

I've been fighting Passo in the first few laps, some corners we were side by side while we were being lapped by tbos and lrfs! Was awesome! Then I tried adapting Passo's cornering speed. It all went terribly wrong, my times went worse and worse. Eventually I could race my own race again, but you quick xfgs were simply too far ahead already.
In the end we made 1st, thanks to the great races of Troy and Adam!!!! YAY!!!
Now make an invite-only league, exactly like this event!

Many teams nowadays struggle to keep their members motivated, the current development of lfs is slow but still promising for the patient. Mercury has been one of the very few top teams in the community, we were happy to race with you guys in several different leagues. Now when the big (v) leave the scene you can be proud of what you've achieved over the last years.
We all hope to still see you on the tarmac from time to time!

17 dead, including the bad guy. He managed to get a lift (forced the driver to take him to another place), then started another shooting 40kms away from school. He injured 2 police guys, then he either got shot or shot himself.
He lived with his wealthy parents, they had a permission for their 18 different weapons. He was a calm guy.
That's the latest news afaik.

Sure, sh*t happens every day, to everyone of us. Sure everyone is "shooting" people he dislikes in his/her mind. But killing several people just because One hates the world all of a sudden is not the way to go.
I hate the world. I hate many many many people. I hate how some are earning billions and some who work for 15hours a day get next to nothing. I hate bullies, I hate....... so many things and circumstances.
Due to the fact I can't shoot the world I've decided to go the hard way. I try to be a better man, I try to be fulfilling MY ethics, no religion, just god.
I also try hard to earn enough to feed my needs.
You can't just be lazy and say "shit has happened so I snap over", I WAS at that very point. childhood was not amusing, I've never had any money although I've worked through all my life,...
I think killing fellow students, co-workers, pupils is the f***in laziest way of getting f***in famous.
